Your decision to adopt marks the first step in transforming an animal’s life for the better. Adopting our rehabilitated horses, burros, and dogs ensures they find a loving forever home and receive the care and attention they deserve.

Start by filling out the form below. We will then contact you to schedule an appointment to visit the center and meet the animals.

If you prefer, answer the application questions and email them to Alicia at alicia@wildhorserescuecenter.org. She will respond by email or phone when she is available.
Please include your name, email, phone number, and preferred contact method. If you have any questions, include those as well.

Horse/Donkey Adoption Application

1. Which horse or donkey are you interested in adopting? (If you do not have a specific horse/donkey in mind, leave this blank)

3. Tell us about your equine experience.

6. Do you own property, or will you be boarding?
7. Who is your veterinarian, and what’s their contact information?
8. Who is your farrier, and what’s their contact information?
9. Do you currently work with a trainer, and if so, what is their name?
10. What type of hay and grain will you feed?
11. Do you understand that we do not allow breeding?
